Refund policy

Returns & Refunds (UK)

Last updated: 30 August 2025

This policy applies to purchases made directly from Sarah’s 3D Prints by UK consumers. It doesn’t affect your statutory rights.

1) Changed your mind? (14-day cooling-off for online orders)

If you buy from us online, you can cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of receiving it. Once you tell us you’re cancelling, you then have another 14 days to send the item(s) back. We’ll refund you within 14 days of getting the goods back or receiving proof you’ve sent them—whichever is earlier. We also refund the outbound standard delivery cost you originally paid (but not any premium/express upgrade). GOV.UKCitizens AdviceLegislation.gov.uk

How to cancel: email us or use the form below—any clear statement that you’re cancelling is fine (you don’t have to use our form). If you cancel via an online form we’ll acknowledge it on a durable medium (e.g., email) without delay. Legislation.gov.uk

Return postage: unless the item is faulty, you’re responsible for return costs (we tell you this upfront here, so it’s valid under the rules). Business Companion

Condition of returns: you may handle items to check them as you would in a shop. If they’re used/handled more than necessary, we may deduct an amount to reflect any diminished value. Legislation.gov.uk

2) Exclusions to the 14-day cooling-off right

You can’t cancel certain items, including goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, and sealed items not suitable for return for health/hygiene reasons once unsealed. (Your rights for faulty goods still apply.) Legislation.gov.ukWhich?

Note: simply choosing a colour from our standard options usually doesn’t make a product “personalised.” Only genuinely bespoke items fall within this exemption. Legislation.gov.uk

3) Faulty, damaged or not as described (Consumer Rights Act 2015)

If a product is faulty or mis-described, contact us right away:

  • Within 30 days of delivery you can reject the item for a full refund (the “short-term right to reject”). Legislation.gov.ukHouse of Commons Library

  • After 30 days and within 6 months, we’ll offer a repair or replacement first; if that fails, you can choose a refund or price reduction. Faults appearing in the first 6 months are presumed present at delivery unless we prove otherwise. Citizens Advice

  • If you reject faulty goods, we cover the reasonable return costs. Legislation.gov.uk

4) How to start a return

Email: [your returns email]
Post to: [your returns address]
Order details to include: name, order number, item(s), reason for return, photos if faulty.

Please package items securely. Keep proof of postage for your records.

5) Refunds

We refund to your original payment method within the timeframes above. If you chose a delivery upgrade, we refund only the standard delivery amount. We may withhold a refund until we receive the goods or you provide proof of return. Legislation.gov.uk+1

6) Exchanges

Want a different colour or item? Start a return as above and place a new order; we’ll process the refund separately. (This keeps things fast and clear.) This does not affect your statutory rights.

7) Who this policy covers

This policy applies to consumer purchases (individuals buying for personal use). Business-to-business orders are handled under separate terms. GOV.UK
