Halloween counting game 2 piece pumpkin & ghost fill shapes with 40 Halloween shaped counters

Halloween Counting Game - Two Fill Shape Trays & 40 Mini Counters

Early maths with a spooky twist! A smiling jack-o-lantern tray and a friendly ghost tray come with 40 little Halloween counters to sort, count and share out - mini ghosts, bats, black cats, witches on broomsticks, crescent moons and tiny pumpkins.

Use the trays on their own as a counting game, or fill them with sand, rice, oats and hide the counters for a spooky search and count. Brilliant for Halloween topic weeks, autumn tuff trays and maths invitations to play.

Learning Through Play

• Counting and cardinality: roll a dice and count that many counters into a tray, or work all the way up to 40.
• Sorting and matching: six different Halloween shapes and a mix of colours to sort by shape.
• Addition and subtraction: lovely for simple number stories - if two bats fly away, how many are left?
• Patterning: lay out repeating sequences along the rim of a tray to build early logical thinking.
• Fine motor skills: pinching and placing the little counters builds hand strength, pincer grip and concentration.
• Sensory play ready: bury the counters in sand or rice for a dig, find and count activity.
